The Electric Power Generation Association
EPGA is a regional trade association proudly representing major electric generating companies that supply wholesale power
in Pennsylvania and surrounding states. Our member companies own and operate more than 150,000 megawatts of generating
capacity, approximately half of which is located in the mid-Atlantic region. Our members' fleets include nuclear, coal-fired,
gas-fired, hydroelectric, wind and solar facilities.
EPGA's mission is to serve as a forum for power generators to exchange views and information; to work toward industry consensus on important issues; to promote high industry reliability and service standards; to give generators a voice in debates that are important to the industry at the local, state and regional levels; to represent generators before state and regional policy-makers and other forums; and to inform the public about issues important to generators.
